‘The Faith Of The People Of Israel.’
Hebrews 11:29-30.
a) Their Faith urged them on
to cross the sea as dry land.
b) When the Egyptian people
tried to do the same, the sea came and drowned them.
c) Because of the Faith of
God’s People the walls of Jericho fell down after being encompassed for seven
days.

and inspires me: The Faith Of The People Of Israel)
‘Is Our Compassion
Stirred?’
Acts 17:22-23.
a) Apostle Paul, in Athens,
went to the Areopagus, which was the public meeting place on Mars Hill.
b) He stood up to speak and
referred to their religious reverence – even to demons.
c) He had looked carefully
at all the objects of worship.
d) He came across an altar
with an inscription that read: “To the unknown god”.
e) Apostle Paul’s compassion
was stirred because they were worshipping a god that was not known.
(This Second one causes me to ask myself the question: Is My
Compassion Stirred)
Chris.
Their Faith urged them on. The people of Israel, following
Moses, went across the dry land where the sea had been by Faith. They had to
go, if they just watched they would have been killed by the Egyptians.
Sometimes our Faith may urge us on and at other times our Faith may urge us to
wait. We should always obey Faith, Faith is the Gift of God.
