‘Desiring A Heavenly Country.’
Hebrews 11:13-16.
a)
Hebrews 11:13. We have read of the Old
Testament Saints who all died in Faith.
b)
Hebrews 11:13. They did not receive the things
that God Promised His People but they saw them from a great distance by Faith
and they were glad.
c)
Hebrews 11:13. They lived on Earth as:-
1-
Strangers.
2-
Temporary residents.
3-
Exiles.
4-
Foreigners.
5-
Visitors.
6-
Sojourners.
7-
Refugees.
8-
Resident aliens.
d)
Hebrews 11:14. These people talked and lived
as if they were looking for a country that would be their homeland.
e)
Hebrews 11:15. If they had been thinking about
the country they had left they would have had many opportunities to go back to
it.
f)
Hebrews 11:16. They were waiting for a better
country, a Heavenly one. Because of this God is not ashamed to be called their
God because He has prepared a City for them.
(Through this QT I
am also Desiring A Heavenly Country)
‘In Christ Jesus.’
1 Corinthians

Because of God we are in relationship with
Christ Jesus.
b)
Christ Jesus has become from us Wisdom from
God.
c)
In Christ Jesus we are put right with God.
d)
We have been:-
1-
Consecrated.
2-
Made Holy.
3-
Made Pure.
e)
In Christ Jesus we have Redemption.
(Through this Second one I thank God that I am In Christ Jesus)
Chris.
Because of God we are in relationship with Christ Jesus. We need
always, if we are True Believers, to remember this. Everything we have and are
is because of God. God is in control of our lives. Whatever our situation, God
is in control and other people should not be. This is something every True
Believer needs to hold on to. We all live by the Grace of God.
