A Commandment in
the Scripture, especially a Commandment given by God, is to be heeded by His
People. We know that we have many Commandments in the Old Testament which, in
principle, should not be ignored. Here we have a New Testament Commandment from
God, given by His Son Jesus Christ. This Commandment is that His Disciples
should love one another.
