‘Such Intense Love For The Area Church.’

1 Thessalonians 2:17.

a)  Apostle Paul and his team felt that they were orphaned when they became separated from the Church in Thessalonica.

b)  They were separated for a short time in person but not in thought.

c)  Apostle Paul and his team had an intense longing to go back to visit the Church in Thessalonica.

d)  They made every effort to go to Thessalonica.

(Through this QT I find Such Intense Love For The Area Church, this was so wholesome)

‘Remain In The Lord.’

John 15:5.

a)  The Lord Jesus is the Vine.

b)  We are the branches.

c)  If we remain in Him and He remains in us.

d)  We will bear much fruit.

e)  Apart from the Lord Jesus we can do nothing.

(This Second one urges me to Remain In The Lord)

The Church in Thessalonica! The Church in Aberdeen! The Church in Mok Po! All these are area Churches of the places mentioned. In the bigger cities the areas would be suitably and geographically arranged for the area Church of that district. The Church of Dong Jak Ku, the Church of Notting Hill, the Church of Bronx and so forth! The Area Church was and is an important part of the Church as revealed in the Scriptures.
