‘Hindered By Satan.’
a) 1 Thessalonians 2:18.
Apostle Paul clearly stated that was his experience when he wanted to visit the
Believers in Thessalonica. It happened more than once. (Paul had been prevented
by causes beyond his control)
b) Acts 20:3. It happened
to Apostle Paul as he was about to set sail for Syria.
c) Ephesians 6:12. There
is a Spiritual war.
d) Romans 1:13. Many
times Apostle Paul wanted to visit the Church in Rome but he was hindered from
doing so.
e) Acts 16:6-7.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit forbids, that is not the hindering of Satan.
f) Acts 17:13-14.
Sometimes it happens through persecutors.
g) Romans 1:14. Apostle
Paul made himself vulnerable because of his love for people.
(Through this QT I
clearly state that I do not want to be Hindered By Satan any more at all)
‘A Biblically Submitted
Life.’
1 Peter 2:17-20.
a) 1 Peter 2:17. Honour
all people.
b) 1 Peter 2:17. Love
the brotherhood. (Fellowship with True Believers)
c) 1 Peter 2:17. Fear
God.
d) 1 Peter 2:17. Honour
the National Leader.
e) 1 Peter 2:18.
Servants should be subject to their masters whether the masters are good or
evil. (If the situation is so corrupt, then leave)
f) 1 Peter 2:19. God is pleased with us when we do what we know is
right and patiently endure unfair treatment.
g) 1
Peter 2:20. When we do well and yet suffer for it that is acceptable with God.
(Through this Second I want to live
more of A Biblically Submitted Life, especially submitting to the Will of God)
Chris.
Honour the National Leader. Even if we do
not agree with their politics or methods it is correct to pray for our National
Leaders. I really learned this lesson so well in Indonesia. Whenever Believers
gather together, whoever opens the gathering or service in Prayer would always
pray for the President and Vice President. God has placed Churches in Nations
to Pray for their Leaders and also for those Churches to Glorify Him.
