Proverbs 29:26.
a) Many people.
b) Will seek the favour of the Ruler.
c) True Justice however.
d) Comes from the Lord.

Jesus Honoured And Respected The Old
Testament Law.’
Matthew 5:17-20.
a) Matthew 5:17. No one should misunderstand the relationship
between Jesus and the Principles and Laws of the Old Testament.
b) Matthew 5:17. Jesus did not come to abolish
the Old Testament.
c) Matthew 5:17. Jesus came to accomplish the
Purpose of the Principles and Laws of the Old Testament.
d) Matthew 5:18. Jesus told the Truth.
e) Matthew 5:18. Until
Heaven and Earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s Law will
disappear until its Purpose is achieved.
f) Matthew 5:19. If we ignore the least
Commandment and Teach other people to do the same, we will be called the least
in the Kingdom of Heaven.
g) Matthew 5:19. If we Obey God’s Laws and Teach
them, we will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
h) Matthew 5:20. A warning to us from Jesus: our
Righteousness need to be better than the ‘righteousness’ of the religious
teachers of the Law and Pharisees of His time.
i) Matthew 5:20. If we are not Righteous we will
never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
(Through this Second one I understand that Jesus Honoured
And Respected The Old Testament Law)

Jesus Honoured and Respected the Old Testament Law and He
expects us to do the same. Jesus was living out and Teaching the Principles of
the Old Testament Law. That is why we should study His Teachings in the Gospels
before we go back to the Books of Moses in the Old Testament. Jesus interprets
the Law for us.
