‘Being Disciplined.’
a)
Proverbs
29:19. Does not always work for everyone in every case.
b)
1 Kings
12:11. Maybe an unjust and painful experience.
c)
Psalm
118:18; Hebrews 12:9-10. Is sometimes the Lord’s Work in our lives.
d)
Jeremiah
31:18; 1 Corinthians 11:32. By the Lord may lead to our Spiritual Restoration.
e)
Titus
1:8. Being self-disciplined should be a part of the life of a Church Leader.
(This QT reveals to me that Being Disciplined
is really a normal part of my life)
‘Relieved.’
Psalm 81:6.
a)
God
relieves our shoulders from the burden.
b)
God may
even remove the burden from our shoulders.
c)
Our
hands are free from the hard work of the basket and the pots.
(Through this Second one I understand that
sometimes it is simply God’s Will that we are Relieved)
Chris
Being self disciplined should be a part of the
life of a Church Leader. If Church Leaders are not self disciplined how can
they expect their Church members to be self disciplined? Self discipline is
something that begins in the private place in the home or the office and
because of that kind of private life it also evidences itself in public
naturally. The self disciplined Church Leader is not an actor or hypocrite.
