‘Things In Common.’
Proverbs 29:13;
22:2.
a) The poor person and the oppressor have this in
common.
b) The Lord gives light to the eyes of both.
c) The poor people and the rich people have this
in common.
d) The Lord made them both.
(This
QT reminds me that there are many people with whom I have Things In Common)
‘Longing
For God.
Psalm
42:1.
a) As
the deer longs for streams of living water.
b) So
the Psalmist was longing for God.
c) John 7:37-39. Anyone who thirsts and longs for
God can come to Jesus and drink.
(This Second one assures me
that it is spiritually healthy to be Longing For God)
Chris.
We should not think of ourselves as
superior or special when we are True Believers. There are many people whom we
have things in common with. Because of this we can participate in the Biblical
activity called Fellowship and we do it as equals, as Children of a Heavenly
Father.
