‘Jesus Is The Life.’
John 11:17-27.
a) John 11:17. Jesus arrived at the tomb of
Lazarus, whom He loved dearly, and found that Lazarus had already been dead
four days.
b) John 11:18. Bethany, where Lazarus and his
family lived was very near to Jerusalem, about two miles away.
c) John
11:19. Many of the Jewish people had come out to comfort Mary and Martha
because of the death of Lazarus.
d) John 11:20. As soon as Martha heard that Jesus
was coming she went out to meet Him.
e) John 11:20. Mary stayed in their home.
f) John 11:21. Then Martha said
to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother wouldn’t have died.”
g) John 11:22. Martha knew that
whatever Jesus asked the Father the Father would give to Him.
h) John 11:23. Jesus told Martha
that her brother would rise again.
i) John 11:24. Martha agreed with
Jesus about the final Resurrection.
j) John 11:25. Jesus proclaimed that
He was, and still is, the Resurrection and the Life.
k) John 11:25. The person who
Believes in Jesus Christ, even though they die, they will live.
l) John 11:26. We are challenged
by Jesus to Believe this.
m) John 11:27. Martha’s reply was
affirmative.

‘The Last Day.’
a) John 11:24. Will be a time of
Resurrection.
b) John 2:4. Will be at a certain
time that we do not know of yet.
c) John 6:39. The Resurrection of
True Believers is God’s Will.
(Through this Second one my Belief in The Last Day is
confirmed)

Mary stayed at home. Emotionally she was not able to face
Jesus yet. She was the deep Worshipper and the emotional lover. She was the one
who in today’s language was the “more sensitive” she wanted to grieve at home,
out of sight of everyone else. Not all True Believer sisters are “Marthas” some
are “Marys” also.
