‘Traps’
a) Isaiah 24:17. Are
sometimes set for people.
b) Jeremiah 5:26; 18:22.
Wicked people set them for innocent people.
c) Jeremiah 48:43. The Lord
sometimes traps people.
d) Psalm 21:11. Our enemies’
traps will fail.
e) Psalm 25:15. The Lord can
keep us from traps.
f) Psalm 91:3. The Lord will
save us from hidden traps.
g) Proverbs 1:18. Sinners
will fall into their own traps.
(This QT makes me want to
keep away from Traps)
‘Truth Always Wins.’
1 Kings 1:38-48.
a) 1 Kings 1:38-39. Solomon
was ceremonially made king.
b) 1 Kings 1:40. There was
much Joy because of the new king.
c) 1 Kings 1:41. Adonijah
(who really wanted to be the king rather than Solomon) heard the celebration
noises coming from the city. Joab wanted to know what it was all about.
d) 1 Kings 1:42, Jonathan
arrived at the place where Adonijah was and Adonijah wanted to know what news
there was.
e) I Kings 1:43-46. Jonathan
told Adonijah about the crowning of Solomon as the new king.
f) 1 Kings 1:47. All of King
David’s officers were so happy because of the appointment of Solomon as king.
g) 1 Kings 1:47-48. King
David bowed on his bed and worshipped God.
(This Second one reminds me that eventually Truth Always Wins)

The Lord can keep us from traps. There are sometimes situations
that we face where there are traps. We should not live in fear of traps because
the Lord can keep us free from them. As True Believers we may be called
sometimes to help people who have fallen into traps.
