(This QT exhorts me to Never Say Never To The Lord)
‘Nathan’s Holy Scheme.’
1 Kings 1:12-14.
a)
1 Kings 1:12. Nathan gave to Bathsheba good
advice on how she and her son Solomon’s lives could be saved.
b)
1 Kings 1:13. Go to the aged King David and
remind him that he had formerly promised that Solomon would be king and rule on
David’s Throne. Ask David why Adonijah has become king.
c)
1 Kings 1:14. Whilst Bathsheba was giving this
news to the king Nathan would come into the room and confirm it.
(This Second one shows me Nathan’s Holy Scheme)
Chris.
Peter would not receive Jesus washing his feet. All the other
Apostles had no objection but seemed to understand the hidden Message of Jesus.
Peter was obstinate until Jesus explained to him the full meaning, then Peter
over-reacted. Even if we do not understand everything it is important for us to
Trust the Lord.
