‘Fleeing Is
Pointless’
Isaiah 24:18.
a) If we are trying to flee
from the noise of fear, we will fall into a pit.
b) Anyone who tries to climb
out of a hole will be caught in a trap.
c) The clouds will pour out
rain.
d) The foundations of the
Earth shall shake.
(This QT reminds me that Fleeing Is Pointless)
‘King David’s Final Instructions To Solomon.’
1 Kings 2:5-12.
a) 1 Kings 2:5-6. Punish
Joab and do not let him die peacefully.
b) 1 Kings 2:7. Be kind and
show love to the children of Barzillai of Gilead and let them eat at your
table.
c) 1 Kings 2:8-9. Be sure
that Shimei is killed.
d) 1 Kings 2:10-11. Then
King David died and was buried with his ancestors.
e) 1 Kings 2:11. David had
reigned over Israel for 47 years.
f) 1 Kings 2:12. Solomon became
King and his kingdom was established greatly.
(This Second one causes me to Pray for the British Royal Family)

King David told Solomon to punish Joab and not let him die
peacefully. This is a sure confirmation of God’s Word. He tells us to be sure
that our sins will find us out. (If they are not confessed, repented of and
taken to the Cross) Nothing is hidden from God.
