Isaiah
23:8-9.
a) Who purposed the humiliation of Tyre?
b) Tyre was:-
1- The place where crowns were bestowed.
2- The place whose merchants were
princes.
3- The place whose traders were
dignitaries in the Earth.
c) The Lord of Hosts had purposed the humiliation
of Tyre.
d) The Lord wanted to defile the pompous pride of
Tyre.
e) The Lord wanted to humiliate the dignitaries.

‘God Remains.’
Psalm 102:25-27.
a) Psalm 102:25. Of old God laid the foundations
of the Earth and the Heavens are the Work of His Hands.
b) Psalm 102:26. The Earth and the Heavens will
perish but God will remain.
c) Psalm 102:26. They will all wear out like a
garment. They will be changed like a robe and pass away.
d) Psalm 102:27. God remains, He is the same and
His Years have no end.

Tyre was a very special
city that God had Blessed so abundantly. The failure of Tyre was that they did
not give to God any Glory for what He had done. Tyre became more and more proud
of their achievements. God is Jealous for His Glory. That is why He intervened
in Tyre.
