‘Abraham’s Faith.’
James 2:20-24.
a)
James 2:20. Faith which does nothing is
useless and foolish “faith”.
b)
James 2:21. Abraham
received God’s approval as a result of what he did when he offered his son Isaac
as a sacrifice on the altar.
c)
James 2:22. Abraham’s Faith and what he did
worked together.
d)
James 2:22. Abraham’s Faith was shown to be
genuine by what he did.
e)
James 2:23. The Scripture was fulfilled that
said that Abraham Believed God, and that Faith was regarded as the basis of
Abraham’s approval by God.
f)
James 2:23. Abraham was called God’s Friend.
g)
James 2:24. We see that a person is justified
by Works and not by Faith Alone.
(This QT
clearly shows me Abraham’s Faith)

(I learn from this Second one: A Message From
God’s Angel To Zechariah)
Chris.
Abraham’s Faith was shown to be genuine by what
he did. There is a great need today in the Churches for people with the same
concept as Abraham, people who show their genuine Faith by what they do. Of
course we believe that Salvation is purely by Grace! We should however produce
the fruit that comes from Salvation.
