‘Jesus Is Not The Accuser.’
John 8:10.
a) Jesus straightened
Himself up again. (There in front of Him was the woman who was caught in
adultery)
b) Only the woman was there,
all her accusers had gone.
c) Jesus asked her where her
accusers were, they had all departed.
d) John 2:4. Jesus called
her “woman”. It was a very respectful word. He addressed His mother Mary with
the same word.
(This QT confirms to me that Jesus Is Not The Accuser)
‘King David’s Charge To Solomon.’
1 Kings 2:1-4.
a) 1 Kings 2:1. At was almost
time for David to die. He gave the charge to Solomon his son.
b) 1 Kings 2:2. David spoke
three principles of Leadership to Solomon:-
1-I am handing the baton to you.
2-Be strong.
3-Show yourself to be a man.
c) 1 Kings 2:3. To be
successful and to prosper as a Leader Solomon was to:-
1- Obey the Lord.
2- Walk in the Ways of the Lord.
3- Keep the Lord’s Commands.
4- Follow the Word of God.
d) 1 Kings 2:4. If Solomon
kept this way all the Promises that God had given to David would be passed on
generation to generation.
(This Second one: King David’s Charge To Solomon, teaches me
some simple principles of Leadership)
Chris.
A good leader will always consider the next generation leader
for the sake of the people that he has been leading. This is not just in
secular environments it is also in the Kingdom of God. Continuity in Leadership
is most important.
