‘Restoration But No Holiness.’
(This was physical restoration
only)

years.

through an ungodly song:-
“Take a harp; go about the city,
O forgotten prostitute! Make sweet melody;
Sing many songs, that you may be remembered.”
O forgotten prostitute! Make sweet melody;
Sing many songs, that you may be remembered.”

d) Isaiah
23:17. Tyre was again going to be affluent and sinful. (There was no change of
heart)

23:18. Tyre’s merchandise and wages would become Holy to the Lord. Believers
would trade with Tyre and even be working for her.
f)

those people who dwell before the Lord. (God used the World system to provide
for His people)
(This QT teaches me about Restoration But No Holiness)
‘Keep On Fearing the Lord.’
Psalm 72:5.
a) Fear the
Lord while the Sun endures.
b) Fear the
Lord as long as the Moon endures.
c) Fear the
Lord throughout all generations.
(Through
this Second one I am exhorted to Keep On Fearing The Lord)
Chris.
When the
Lord Blessed Tyre, they had no change of heart. This is not a rare occurrence just
in one city in Bible days. This situation happens many times over today. I know
of many people and places where the Lord has poured out abundant blessing upon
them and yet they had no change of heart towards Him. Surely this means that
the Blessing of God is all part of the Grace of God.
