‘If We Do Not Understand Then Ask.’
John 4:11.
a) The woman totally misunderstood Jesus.
b) She said that He did not have a rope or a
bucket. How could He get ‘living water’ from the very deep well.
c) Where was Jesus going to get the water from?
(This QT encourages me: If I Do Not Understand Then Ask)
‘Appointing Is God’s Way.’
1 Kings 2:35.
a) The King (Solomon) made two important
appointments here.
b) He appointed Benaiah to be the Commander of
the army.
c) He appointed Zadok to be the new High Priest.
d) Right through the Bible we can see that appointing
is God’s Way.
(This Second
one emphasises to me that Appointing Is God’s Way)

If we do not understand
then we should ask, especially if there is no other way to learn. Sometimes
pride keeps us from asking and then it hinders our performance. Sometimes fear
of being laughed at keeps us from asking. When we need to ask then we should.
If people ask us then we should not pretend to know if we do not know and also,
we should never be angry towards those people who ask us.
