‘God
Helps Those People Who Cannot Help Themselves.’
Isaiah
25:2-5.
a) Isaiah 25:2. God’s Power:-
1- He can lay waste a city.
2- He can destroy a strong city.
3- He can make the beautiful house of
strangers no more so it can never be built again.
b) Isaiah 25:3. Strong people will honour the
Lord. Cities of Nations that show no pity will fear the Lord.
c) Isaiah 25:4. God has been:-
1-A
strong place for those people who could not help themselves.
2-A
strong place for those people who are in need because of much trouble.
3-A
safe place from the storm.
4-A
shadow from the heat.
5-A
protector against the breath of one who shows no pity and is like a storm
against a wall.
d) Isaiah 25:5. Like heat:-
1- In a dry place, the Lord quiets the
noise of strangers.
2- By the shadow of a cloud, the song of
one who shows no pity is made quiet.
(Through this QT I am sure
that God Helps Those People Who Cannot Help Themselves)
‘God’s Wise Leading.’
Exodus 13:17.
a) Pharaoh sent God’s People away from Egypt.
b) God did not lead them the way of the land of
the Philistines, even though that was the shortest way.
c) God knew that His People may change their
minds when they saw war and go back into Egypt.
(This Second one reminds
me of God’s Wise Leading)
Chris.
Trouble comes to most of us at various
times in our lives. For some of us we face more trouble than other people do.
We need the protection, wisdom and comfort from God when we face those times of
trouble. Through trouble we can also learn to have a more compassionate heart,
rather than a bitter one.
