‘They Were Ruined.’
Isaiah 23:13.
a)
The Chaldeans became a people that were no
longer a people!
b)
Assyria destined their land for wild beasts.
c)
Assyria:-
1-
Erected their siege towers.
2-
They stripped the Chaldeans’
palaces bare.
3-
They made the land of the
Chaldeans a ruin.
(This QT makes me ponder because God’s Hand was in
this: They Were Ruined)
‘God Did Not Do It.’
Jonah 3:10.
a)
God saw that Nineveh turned from their evil
ways.
b)
God relented of the disaster that God said
that He would bring upon them.
c)
God did not do it.
(Through this Second one I thank God: God Did Not Do
It)

When God’s Hand is in or upon a situation then His Will is done.
The situation for the Chaldeans became irreversible they became a people who
were not a people. The outcome and fruit in our lives as we read this passage
should be that we have the Fear of the Lord. The Bible tells us that the Fear
of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom.
