Matthew 5:13-14.

Jesus
said that His Disciples are the Salt of the Earth.

If salt
loses its saltiness how can it become salty again?

That
salt is no good for anything anymore.

That
salt needs to be thrown out and it will be trampled underfoot.

Jesus
also said of His Disciples that they were the Light of the World.

town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Jesus said that His Disciples are the Salt of the Earth. This
Word is also applicable to His Disciples today. Salt is very influential, it
can change many things. River water eventually becomes sea water, foods’
flavour is improved. Icy roads become safe. With warm water gargle can clear
the throat. There are more examples… Let us live as the Salt of the Earth.
