‘When God’s Commands Are In Our Heart.’
Deuteronomy 6:7
a)

children.
b)
We talk about them when we are at home.
c)
We talk about them when we are on the road.

(This QT shows me what happens
When God’s Commands Are In My Heart)
‘We Can Serve God In A New Way.’
Romans 7:4-6.
a)
Romans 7:4. This is written for the Body of
Christ.
b)
Romans 7:4. We died to the power of the Law
when we died with Christ.
c)
Romans 7:4. Now we are united with Christ Who
is raised from the dead.
d)
Romans 7:4. As a result of this union we can
produce a harvest of good deeds for God.
e)
Romans 7:5. When
we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us,
and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds,
resulting in death.
f)
Romans 7:6. Now we are released from the Law,
for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power.
g)
Romans 7:6. Now
we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the Law, but in
the new way of living in the Spirit.
(Through this Second one I am grateful that I
Can Serve God In A New Way)
Chris.
When God’s Commands are in our heart our life becomes
different. We can Rejoice in His Commands. We can live in the way that God
wants. We can serve God in humility and with honesty. The Psalmist encourages
us to hide the Word of God in our hearts and I would say that is excellent
counsel.
