Isaiah 17:4-7.
a)
Isaiah 17:4. There will be a time when the
Glorious Nation of Israel will be brought down. The prosperous people will
become like skin and bones.
b)
Isaiah 17:5. Israel will become like the wheat
fields in Rephaim Valley that are clean of grain.
c)
Isaiah 17:6. What the Lord God of Israel has
promised is that Israel will become like an olive tree beaten with a stick.
There will be only two to five olives left on the highest or most fruitful
branches.
d)
Isaiah 17:7. Then the people of Israel will
turn and Trust their Creator, the Holy One of Israel.

2 Corinthians
11:3-4.
a)
We are not to be deceived by the crafty and
lying serpent away from this Message.
b)
If we are deceived our thinking changes and
moves away from simplicity. It becomes:-
1-
Corrupted.
2-
Dishonest.
3-
Insincere.
c)
When we hear the Message of the Gospel we
accept that Message and Receive the Holy Spirit.
d)
There are false ‘gospels’ which tell of
another Jesus, we should not receive that wrong message and the wrong spirit
that goes with it.

I do not want to become like an olive tree beaten with a stick.
I desire to be a fruitful True Believer. When we turn from God to our own ways
it is spiritually dangerous, we may become like the barren olive tree. We need
to turn back to God and Trust Him.
