‘The
Lord’s Quiet And Powerful Ways.’
Isaiah
18:4-6.
a) Isaiah 18:4. There are times that the Lord
quietly looks at the Earth from His Dwelling Place.
b) Isaiah 18:4. The Lord makes His People
comfortable with warmth and refreshing.
c) Isaiah 18:5. When the enemy’s plans are on the
verge of completion the Lord steps in to Judge.
d) John 15:2. The Lord deals with branches.
e) Isaiah 18:5. The enemies of the Lord’s People
shall be dealt with by the Lord.
(This
Second one reveals to me The Lord’s Quiet And Powerful Ways)
‘Living
According To The Holy Spirit.’
Romans
8:2-4.
a) Romans 8:2. The law of the Spirit of Life in
Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death. (Hallelujah)
b) Romans 8:3. It
is impossible to do what God’s standards demand because of the weakness our
human nature has. But God sent his Son to have a human nature as sinners have
and to pay for sin. That way God condemned sin in our corrupt nature.
c) Romans 8:4. Now we do not live by our corrupt
nature but by our Spiritual Nature in order that the righteous requirement of
the Law be fulfilled in us.
(Because
of this Second one I want to be Living According To The Holy Spirit)
Chris.
The Lord’s timing
is always perfect! Sometimes we do not understand why there is a seeming delay.
God knows! Our part is to trust His timing. Through trusting the Lord’s timing
our Faith can grow. Our Faith does not always grow in easy circumstances.
