Moab Turned The Wrong Way!

‘Moab Turned The Wrong Way.’
Isaiah 15:2-9.
a)      Isaiah 15:2. They go to the temple and not to the Lord.
b)      Isaiah 15:3-4. They are mourning and crying instead of repenting.
c)       Isaiah 15:5. They are running away and telling other people about the disasters.
d)      Isaiah 15:6. Their ground has become parched.
e)      Isaiah 15:7. As they run they take everything that they have worked for.
f)        Isaiah 15:8. They are crying mournfully as they go.
g)      Isaiah 15:9. It is going to be worse for them because they will be attacked by lions.
(Through this QT I have a lesson to learn: Moab Turned The Wrong Way)

‘An Honoured Man.’
Psalm 23:5.
a)      God treats him to a feast while his enemies watch.
b)      God honours him as His guest.
c)       God fills his cup until it overflows.
(This Second one shows me An Honoured Man and reminds me that God can and will Honour Whom He may choose)

As the Moabites ran they took with them everything that they had worked for. This was a very miserable time for the people of Moab and this whole episode was arranged by God. The further they turned away from Him the worse it got for them. We need to remember that in times of difficulty we should turn to the Lord and not away from Him.
