Galatians 2:16-21.
a)
Galatians 2:16. No one is Justified by obeying
God’s Law.
b)
Galatians 2:16. It is by Believing in Jesus
Christ that we are Justified.

Galatians 2:17. The problem is that we are
sinners and Christ does not encourage us to sin.

Galatians 2:18. If we build again the sinful
things that have been thrown down from our lives then we make ourselves
transgressors.

Galatians 2:19. Because
of the law, we died as far as the law is concerned. We died so that we might
live for God.

Galatians 2:20. We have been crucified with
Christ:-

We no longer live.

Christ lives in us.

Our Faith in the Son of God helps
us to live our life in our body.
g) Galatians 2:20. Christ loved us and gave Himself
for us.

Galatians 2:21. We do not set aside the Grace
of God.

Galatians 2:21. If Righteousness comes by
obedience to God’s Law then Christ died for nothing.

Christ
gave Himself for us. This is a very wonderful statement that means whoever
receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will receive God’s Gift of
Eternal Salvation. Jesus Christ took the punishment for our sins on the Cross.
