‘A Loving Father-In-Law But Wrong Counsel.’
Exodus 18:16-20.
a)
Exodus 18:16. Moses declares to his
father-in-law what he is doing for the people.
b)
Exodus 18:17-18. Moses’ father-in-law was a
heathen priest and his concept was incorrect. He simply wanted to save Moses
from tiredness.
c)
Exodus 18:19. Moses’ father-in-law brought God
into his opinion even though he did not know God at all. He was trying to
strongly influence Moses.
d)
Exodus 18:20. Moses’ father-in-law wanted
Moses to be a teacher-leader rather than a pastor leader.

Father-In-Law But Wrong Counsel)
‘Think About Receiving The Holy
Spirit.’
Galatians 3:2.
a)
These are the questions that Apostle Paul
asked the Galatian Churches.
b)
Did they receive the Holy Spirit on the
principle of the works of God’s Law?
c)
Or did they receive the Holy Spirit because
they believed what they heard about Him?
(This Second one should cause all of us to Think About Receiving
The Holy Spirit)
Chris.
Moses
made the mistake of declaring to his father-in-law, who was a heathen priest,
what Moses was doing in his Ministry. Until today the people who do not know
Jesus Christ see Church, Mission and Ministry through eyes of unbelief.
Sometimes, if the Believing Servant of the Lord listens to the wrong people
they may cause the Servant to stray away from the Will of God.
