‘Keep Believing The Simple
Truth.’
Hebrews 13:9.
a) We
are not to be carried away with various and strange doctrines.
b) It
is good that our hearts be established by Grace.
c) It
is good that our hearts are not established with foods.
d) These foods are not profiting those people who
are occupied by them.
(This QT
encourages me to Keep Believing The Simple Truth)
‘Christ
Has Redeemed Us From The Curse Of The Law.’
Galatians
3:10-13.
a) Galatians 3:10. All people who are living
under the works of the Law of God are also living under a curse. The Word of
God said that all people who do not keep the whole Law will be cursed.
b) Galatians 3:11. Through God’s Word we know
that no one is Justified by Keeping God’s Laws. The Bible tells us that the
Just shall live by Faith.
c) Galatians 3:12. The Law is not of Faith, the
Law is of the person who does them shall live by them.
d) Galatians 3:13. Christ has Redeemed us from
the curse of the Law, having been made a curse for us. It is written in God’s
Word that cursed is everyone that is hanged on a tree.
(I rejoice through the Second one because
Christ Has Redeemed Me From The Curse Of The Law)
Chris.
People get occupied with food fads, even
some Believers. Their food fad is not so much to do with diet or calories it is
to do with their own form of religious practise. We should remember that what Apostle Paul
wrote in his Epistles was mostly written very gently to first generation True
Believers who had no living example apart from Paul himself. For True Believers
to be caught up in food fads is really not glorifying to God or a helpful
testimony in fellowship with other Believers. Of course diet for illness
reasons is different.
