‘Looking The Correct Way.’
Isaiah 17:8.
a) When we are looking to the Lord.
b) We will not be looking to manmade altars.
c) We will not be looking to the Asherim.
d) We will not be looking to idols.
e) Isaiah 27:9. One of the fruit of repentance is
that we remove idols from our lives.
f) Deuteronomy 16:21. We cannot have both the
Altar of the Lord and the Asherim.

‘The Law Is Relevant Until The End.’
Matthew 5:17-18.
a) Jesus did not come to abolish or make void the
Law and the Prophets.
b) Jesus did not come to abolish them but to fulfil
them.
c) The End is when Heaven and Earth pass away.
d) Not a single dot will pass from the Law until
all is accomplished.

One
of the fruit of repentance is that we remove idols from our lives. This does
not necessarily mean an object from another religion that we may have embraced
formerly. An idol in our life can be anything that comes between God and us. It
can be one of hundreds of things. Let us be free from them.
