Godly Correction!

‘Godly Correction.’
Hebrews 12:5-11.
a)      Hebrews 12:5. Comes from the Lord and we are not to be discouraged by it. The Bible tells us so.
b)      Hebrews 12:6. The Lord corrects the people that He Loves and He disciplines the people that He calls His own.
c)       Hebrews 12:7. We should be patient when we are being corrected this is how God treats His Children.
d)      Hebrews 12:7. All parents should correct their own children.
e)      Hebrews 12:8.  God corrects all of His Children, and if He doesn’t correct us, then we don’t really belong to Him.
f)        Hebrews 12:9. Our earthly fathers correct us, and we still respect them. Isn’t it even better to be given True Life by letting our Spiritual Father correct us?
g)      Hebrews 12:10. Our earthly fathers correct us for a short time and they do it in a way that they think is best.
h)      Hebrews 12:10. God corrects us for our own good because He wants us to be Holy as He is.
i)         Hebrews 12:11. It is never fun to be corrected. In fact, at the time it is always painful. But if we learn to obey by being corrected, we will do right and live at peace.
(Through this QT I desire to always respond to Godly Correction in a good way)

True Believers are the people that God calls His Own. What a privilege to be called the People of God by God Himself. It is when we realise and understand all that God has done for us, is doing for us and will do for us that we can take time to Glorify Him in various ways and with the Gifts and Talents that He has given to us.
