‘The Spiritual Authority Of God’s
Servant.’
Jeremiah 1:10.
a)
The true Servant of the Lord is sent by God.
b)
The true Servant of the Lord is set by God.
c)
God’s Servant will be sent to Nations and
Kingdoms. (Away from our own: City, Tribe or Nation)
d)
The Message of God’s Servant rebuilds lives
and communities.
(This QT reminds me of
The Spiritual Authority Of God’s Servant)
‘King David’s Commission
To His Son Solomon.’
1 Kings 2:2-3.
a)
The time had come for David to die so he said
to Solomon his son and heir to the throne that it was time for him to be strong
and brave.
b)
Solomon needed to take heed to the Ways of the
Lord.
c)
Solomon was to:-
1-
Do what the Lord commanded.
2-
Follow the Lord’s Teachings.
3-
Keep the Lord’s Statutes.
4-
Keep the Lord’s Judgments.
5-
Keep the Lord’s Testimonies.
6-
Obey the Law of Moses.
d)
If Solomon did this then God would make him
prosper.
(Through this Second one I am alerted by King David’s Commission
To His Son Solomon)
Chris.
The True Servant of the Lord is set by God. (Yes, set as well as
sent!) God has a Plan and a Place for every True Servant of His. Sometimes He
may change the Plan and Place and that means being set by God in a new
environment. It is not for us to set our own plan and place.
