What's The Use?



‘What’s The Use?’
Ecclesiastes 6:6-8.
a)  Ecclesiastes 6:6. This person goes on living for a thousand years twice over.
b)  Ecclesiastes 6:6. This person does not see good.
c)  Ecclesiastes 6:6. This person ends up eternally in the same place as other people, including me.
d)  Ecclesiastes 6:7. All the work that people do is for their food. Yet they still have a desire for food. It never vanishes.
e)  Ecclesiastes 6:8. What advantages have the wise people over the foolish people?
f)  Ecclesiastes 6:8. What advantage has the poor person when they walk wisely before the living?
(Through this QT I can really understand when depressed people question about their life: What’s The Use?)

‘Jesus Teaches About Life.’
John 12:24-25.
a)  The grain of wheat needs to fall into the Earth and die. If it does not, it is useless.
b)  Through the death of the seed in the ground much fruit will be produced.
c)  The person who is only in love with their life in a selfish way will have their life taken from them.
d)  The person who has no care about their life in World system values will keep their life forever and ever.
(Through this Second one I am Blessed by what Jesus Teaches About Life)

If the grain of wheat does not fall into the Earth and die it is useless. It is only the seed that falls into the Earth and dies that will become fruitful. Sometimes we suffer because we try to hang on to what is “ours”. We have our own concepts about what we want to do with ours. We need to die to these concepts and find the Lord’s Will, then we can be truly joyful and peaceful.
