‘Keep On In The Way Of Truth.’
1 Timothy 4:1-9.
a) 1 Timothy 4:1. One of the
last day’s signs which is clearly taught us by the Holy Spirit is that some
people will renounce their Faith.
b) 1 Timothy 4:1. They will
pay attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.
c) 1 Timothy 4:2. These
people will speak lies in hypocrisy and have hardened consciences.
d) 1 Timothy 4:3. These
people will forbid marriage.
e) 1 Timothy 4:3. These
people will demand abstinence from certain foods which God has created to be
received with Thanksgiving by those people who know the Truth.
f) 1 Timothy 4:4. Everything
Created by God is good, and not to be rejected provided it is received with
Thanksgiving.
g) 1 Timothy 4:5. The food
is sanctified by the Word of God and Prayer.
h) 1 Timothy 4:6. The
Servant of the Lord is to put these instructions to the Church.
i) 1 Timothy 4:6. If the
Servant of the Lord does this they:-
1- Will be a good Servant of Jesus Christ.
2- Will be nourished on the Words of the Faith.
3- Will be nourished on the Words of the Good Teaching which they
have followed.
j) 1 Timothy 4:7. The
Servant of the Lord has to:-
1- Have nothing to do with profane myths.
2- Have nothing to do with old wives’ tales.
3- Train them self in Godliness.
k) 1 Timothy 4:8. The
Servant of the Lord needs to emphasise on personal Godliness.
l) 1 Timothy 4:9. These
sayings are:-
1- Sure.
2- Worthy of full acceptance.
3- Faithful.

‘Dangerous Progress.’
1 Kings 10:1-25.
a) 1 Kings 10:1. Due to the
Name of the Lord Solomon had become famous. The Queen of Sheba came to test him
with hard questions.
b) 1 Kings 10:2. She came
with many gifts for Solomon and she told him everything that was on her heart.
c) 1 Kings 10:3. Solomon
clearly answered all of her questions.
d) 1 Kings 10:4-5. The Queen
of Sheba was totally amazed by everything.
e) 1 Kings 10:6-9. The Queen
of Sheba saw and then she believed everything that was told her about Solomon.
f) 1 Kings 10:10. The Queen
of Sheba gave valuable gifts to Solomon.
g) 1 Kings 10:11. Other
practical and valuable gifts came too.
h) 1 Kings 10:12. King
Solomon used these gifts in practical ways.
i) 1 Kings 10:13. Solomon
gave to the Queen of Sheba everything she wanted. (This was dangerous)
j) 1 Kings 10:14-15. Much
Gold came to Solomon from other sources.
k) 1 Kings 10:16-21. King
Solomon made many practical things from all the gifts that he received.
l) 1 Kings 10:22. Solomon
had ships and he traded in valuable things.
m) 1 Kings 10:23-24. In the
whole Earth Solomon was the #1 king.
n) 1 Kings 10:25. Year by
year there were more and more presents brought to him.
(Through this Second one I know that King Solomon was
on the path of Dangerous Progress)

The Queen of Sheba came with many gifts for Solomon.
There are several things that we learn here. She was such a wealthy queen that
her gifts were mere admiration and not sacrifice. Her gifts caused King Solomon
to carelessly and boastfully open up all he had to her. Solomon’s heart was
easily swayed by women. There are lessons to be learned here.
