a) Numbers 25:1. The immorality of God’s People.

People because they joined themselves to an idol.
d) Numbers 25:4. The Lord’s remedy.
e) Numbers 25:5. Moses had to see to this remedy
being executed.
f) Numbers 25:6. The Midianite wife should not be
there.
g) Numbers 25:7-8. The correct and bold action of
Phinehas.
h) Numbers 25:9. The result of the Lord’s
Judgment.
i) Numbers 25:10-13. God’s Blessing upon
Phinehas.
j) Numbers 25:14-15. Those people who were slain
by Phinehas, Zimri and Cozbi.
k) Numbers 25:16. Then the Lord again spoke to
Moses.
l) Numbers 25:17-18. He and the Lord’s People
were to be hostile to their enemy.

Someone needs to be
responsible to do what the Lord wants to be done. In this case it was Moses the
Bible says that he was the most humble man who ever lived. Sometimes we are
like spectators, waiting for other people to do what the Lord wants to be done.
