Living United With Christ!



‘Living United With Christ.’
Romans 6:5-12.
a)    Romans 6:5. We have been united with Christ in the likeness of His Death.
b)   Romans 6:5. We shall certainly be united with Christ in the Resurrection.
c)    Romans 6:6. We know that:-
1-  Our old self was Crucified with Christ.
2-  The body of sin is brought to nothing.
3-  We are no longer enslaved to sin.
d)   Romans 6:7. The person who has died has been set free from sin.
e)    Romans 6:8. If we have died with Christ we believe also that we shall live with Him.
f)     Romans 6:9. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again.
g)   Romans 6:10. For the death Christ died to sin, once for all people.
h)   Romans 6:10. The Life Christ now lives He lives to God.
i)     Romans 6:11. So we should consider ourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
j)     Romans 6:12. We should not let sin reign in our mortal bodies to make us obey its passions.

‘Dawn.’
a)    Luke 24:         1. Was the time to prepare bodies for burial.
b)   Acts 27:33. Is a time to eat.
c)    2 Peter 1:19. Is a time to pay attention to the Word of God.
d)   Genesis 19:15; 1 Samuel 9:26. Is a time to move in obedience toward God.
e)    Joshua 6:15. Is a time to take action and Faith in obedience to God.
f)     Nehemiah 4:21. Is a time to begin God’s Work.
g)   Psalm 46:5. Is a time for depending on God’s help.
h)   Psalm 57:8; 108:2. Is a time for Praising God.
i)     Psalm 119:147. Is a time to Pray with the Word of God.
j)     Isaiah 58:8. Is a time for progress in every way.
k)    Hosea 6:3; Zephaniah 3:5. Is a time to encounter the Lord.
l)     Micah 2:1. It is a time for us to fight evil.
(Through this Second one I understand more about the spiritual significance of the Dawn)

Dawn is a time to move in obedience toward God. If we take steps of obedience in the early morning it is far easier to stay in that obedience all day long. The dawn is a fresh time for us, it is a time to wake and begin our day. The best way to begin the day for the True Believer is to begin it with God.
