‘False Prophets.’
Jeremiah 28:1.
a) Try to impress people in
authority.
b) May come from the
families of God’s People.
c) Speak their message in
the Lord’s House.
d) Often operate in the
presence of many people.
(Through this QT I am
encouraged to Pray against False Prophets)
---------
‘Followers Or Leaders?’
John 18:15-16.
a) Peter and the other
Disciple were following Jesus at a distance.
b) This was the time when
Jesus was being accused by the Jews.
c) Peter remained outside
the High Priest’s courtyard.
d) The other Disciple who
was with Peter was an acquaintance of the High Priest so he was able to go in.
e) The other Disciple
arranged for Peter to be brought in to the High Priest’s courtyard.
(Through this Second one I ponder upon the parts of
Followers Or Leaders and I realise that both need the Grace of God very much)

Chris.
It is important that we Pray against false prophets. Sometimes
people who stand for the Truth are accused of bigotry or being ‘too narrow’.
Because of these accusations some people are afraid of speaking out or losing
friends. We need to consider the Church and God’s Love for the Church. Any
Prayer that we Pray should never be condemnatory towards persons. Our Prayer is
against the spiritual aspect rather than the deceived individuals who are
bringing the false prophecies.
