Wayward Women In The Church!

‘Wayward Women In The Church.’
(Here Apostle Paul is referring to young widows in the Church, today we need to include young female divorcees. This does not refer to all but to some. He does not use the word “always” he uses the word “whenever”)
1 Timothy 5:11-15.
a)   1 Timothy 5:11. It is natural for them to grow lustful against Christ and want to marry again.
b)   1 Timothy 5:12. They carry a guilty conscience because they cast off their first Faith.
c)    1 Timothy 5:13. They learn wrong things. (Because of low self image):-
1-  Idleness.
2-  Going around house to house.
3-  Gossips, saying things that they ought not to say.
d)   1 Timothy 5:14. They should:-
1-  Remarry.
2-  Bear children.
3-  Guide the home.
4-  Give no place to Satan.
e)   1 Timothy 5:15. If these good things are not taught these wayward women may easily turn aside to Satan.
(This QT gives a Bible Answer for Wayward Women in the Church. We should not reject them, we should accept and help them)

Chris.

There are some young widows and divorced women who spend their free time going around from house to house. Because they are not the host but the guest they easily become the centre of attention, even though they may help the host wife in some way. In such cases it has been known for the host husband to get pulled into a private, secret and adulterous relationship with the young widowed or divorced woman. The Church needs to be taking care of these women well. A young widows’ ministry or a divorce recovery ministry are practical ministries to have in healthy Churches. One of the things that a young widow or divorced woman may miss most is the comfort and assurance that comes from a physical relationship with their husband.
