‘Keep Trusting The Promise Of God.’
Numbers 14:6-24.
a) Numbers 14:6. Because of
the fear and stubbornness of God’s People Joshua and Caleb repented and
interceded before the Lord.
b) Numbers 14:7. Joshua and
Caleb spoke good things about the Promised Land.
c) Numbers 14:8. If the Lord
delights in His People then He will fulfil His Good Promise.
d) Numbers 14:9. Do not
rebel against the Lord or fear the people.
e) Numbers 14:10. The people
were ready to stone Joshua and Caleb then the Glory of the Lord appeared.
f) Numbers 14:11. The Lord
was getting tired of His People’s despising Him and their unbelief.
g) Numbers 14:12. God wanted
to destroy His People and raise up another people.
h) Numbers 14:13-17. The
Intercession of Moses.
i) Numbers 14:18. The
Character of the Lord:-
1- Slow to anger.
2- Plenteous in Loving Kindness.
3- Forgiving iniquity.
4- Forgiving transgression.
5- Not clearing the guilty.
j) Numbers 14:19. Moses
prayed to the Lord to forgive His People.
k) Numbers 14:20. The Lord forgave.
l) Numbers 14:21. The whole
Earth would be filled with the Glory of the Lord.
m) Numbers 14:22-23. The
stubborn people would not see the Promised Land.
n) Numbers 14:24. Caleb
trusted the Lord and His Promises. Joshua and Caleb would enter the Promised
Land.

a) They were looked after by
the Levites and the sons of the Priests.
b) Furniture.
c) Holy Vessels.
d) Fine flour.
e) Wine.
f) Oil.
g) Frankincense.
h) Spices.
i) Confectionary.

Oil! Oil has many uses but the first use I think of is
oil for anointing. The Bible talks about anointing oil and also rub on oil for
healing purposes. There is also engine oil, cooking oil, lubricating oil and
many other kinds of oil. Let us remember that oil was used back in the early
days of the Old Testament.
