‘A Shock And A Tragedy.’
Ecclesiastes 5:13-14.
a)
This is a grievous and
severely evil situation.
b)
A person who has riches
but hordes them to their own hurt.
c)
Those riches perish
through misfortune.
d)
When this person has
children.
e)
They have nothing in
their hand to give to their children.
(This QT makes me think about stewardship: A Shock And A

‘The Purity Of The True Gospel.’
1 Corinthians 1:13-23.
a)
1 Corinthians 1:13. The
Gospel is only about Jesus Christ, no one else.
b)
1 Corinthians 1:14-16. Water Baptism is in the Name of:-
1-
The Father.
2-
The Son.
3-
The Holy Spirit.
4-
No other.
c)
1 Corinthians 1:17.
Preaching of the True Gospel. Is not impressing with human Wisdom but it is
exalting the work of the Cross of Christ.
d) 1 Corinthians 1:18. For the Message of the Cross is foolishness to
those people who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the Power
of God.
e)
1 Corinthians 1:19. God destroys the wisdom of
the wise people who oppose Him.
f)
1 Corinthians 1:19. God brings to nothing the
understanding of the prudent people who oppose him.
g) 1 Corinthians 1:20. God
has made foolish the wisdom of this World system:-
1- Where is the wise person?
2- Where is the scribe?
3- Where is the disputer of this age?
h) 1 Corinthians 1:21. The
Wisdom of God is manifested through the foolishness of the Message preached to
Save those people who Believe.
i)
1 Corinthians 1:21. Worldly wisdom does not
bring the knowledge of God.
j)
1 Corinthians 1:22. Jews request a sign and Greeks
seek after wisdom.
k)
1 Corinthians 1:23. We Preach Christ
Crucified. To the Jewish people He is a stumbling block. To the Greek people He
is foolishness.
(Through this Second one I long to see The Purity Of The True
Gospel in the modern day Church and to Preach that Gospel)

People go to Seminary and study Systematic Theology. That is
good. The Church needs good and pure teaching of the Word of God. There is another
system, the World system that is totally bad. The Book of 1 John in the Bible
tells us that the World system is basically lust and pride. We need as True
Believers to be free from the World system and replace it in our minds and
hearts with the System that comes from God which is His Word.
