‘We Do See Jesus.’
Hebrews 2:6-9.
a)
Hebrews 2:6; Psalm 8:5-7. The Scripture
testifies: What is man (how poor a creature is man) that You remember him, or
the son of man that You care for him and come to him?
b)
Hebrews 2:7. You made him lower than the
Angels for a short time.
c)
Hebrews 2:7. You crown him with Glory and
Honour.
d)
Hebrews 2:8. You subjected everything under
his feet.
e)
Hebrews 2:8. In subjecting everything to him,
He left nothing that is not subject to him.
f)
Hebrews 2:8. As it is we do not yet see
everything subjected to him.
g)
Hebrews 2:9. But we do see Jesus:-
1-
Made lower than the
Angels for a short time.
2-
By God’s Grace
tasting death for everyone.
3-
Crowned with Glory
and Honour because of His suffering and death.
(I am so thankful for this QT: We Do See Jesus)
‘Blessed People.’
Matthew 5:3-9.
a)
Matthew 5:3. The people who are poor in spirit
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
b)
Matthew 5:4. The people who mourn for they
shall be comforted.
c)
Matthew 5:5. The people who are gentle for
they will inherit the Earth.
d)
Matthew 5:6. The people who hunger and thirst
for Righteousness for they will be filled.
e)
Matthew 5:7. The people who are merciful for
they will be shown Mercy.
f)
Matthew 5:8. The people who are pure in heart
for they will see God.
g)
Matthew 5:9. The people who are peacemakers
for they will be called sons and daughters of God.
(In this Second one I find the Blessed People)
Chris.
The people who hunger and thirst for Righteousness shall be filled.
This surely should be the desire of every True Believer – Righteousness. We
live in a World where, often in the World system, success is more important
than Righteousness. This is really a deception because God is the One Who gives
success to humankind.
