‘A
Lovely And Trusting Friendship.’
Philemon
1:21-22.
a)
Apostle Paul believed and trusted that
Philemon would what he asked him to do. (The friendship is proven by action)
b)
Apostle Paul knew that Philemon would do more
than what was asked of him. (The friendship does not calculate)
c)
Apostle Paul knew that Philemon would prepare
a room for him. (The friendship included hospitality)
d)
Apostle Paul knew that Philemon was Praying
for him. (A friendship that was enhanced by and through Prayer)
(This
QT gives me lessons about A Lovely And Trusting Friendship)
‘Grace
Reigns.’
Romans
5:21.
a)
Sin reigns and exercises dominion in death.
b)
Grace reigns and exercises dominion through
Righteousness and Justification.
c)
This reign of Grace leads to Eternal Life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(This Second one reminds me that Grace Reigns)
Chris.
Apostle Paul knew that Philemon would prepare a room
for him. This is very simple hospitality. A friendship that extended into
hospitality! Hospitality is a joyful ministry, it is supposed to be. The person
or persons giving hospitality should enjoy it as well as the recipients.
Frankly, hospitality is not always easy because human beings, even True
Believers, are not perfect. Most people have their quirks, no one is without
them. It is because of the Lord’s Grace and Calling that we can stand and enjoy
every Gift that He has given to us and share these Gifts with other people.
