Chris.
The Lord wants to hear the pleasant voice of the Church. That pleasant voice comes from words spoken and songs sung. If we have responsibility in public Worship to speak and sing then our voice should be pleasant, it means that our heart will also be pleasant. The Church is still the Church outside public Worship, it is Church in the members' homes. At home, also, the pleasant voice of the Church should be heard.
