‘I Found Him.’
Song of Solomon 3:1-4.
(Here is the picture of the Church
seeking the One, her Head Whom she loves so much)
a)
Song of Solomon 3:1. She was earnestly seeking
Him but could not find Him.
b)
Song of Solomon 3:2. She was so desperate that
she got up in the night. She went out searching for Him.
c)
Song of Solomon 3:3. Even the watchmen of the
night found her seeking the One Whom she loved.
d)
Song of Solomon 3:3. All she could do was to
ask them if they had seen Him.
e)
Song of Solomon 3:4. Just after meeting the
watchmen she found Him Whom her soul loves:-
1-
She
held Him and would not let Him go.
2-
She
brought Him into her mother’s house. (A place of and for personal relationship)
3-
She
brought Him into her mother’s chamber. (A place of privacy and affection)
(Through
this QT I find a Church deeply in Love with her Head: I Found Him)
‘Do
What Is Correct And Good.’
Deuteronomy
6:18-19.
a)
We should do what is correct and good in the
sight of the Lord.
b)
Then it will go well with us.
c)
We can then go in and take possession of the
land that the Lord has Promised to us.
d)
The Lord will thrust out all our enemies
before us. That is His Promise.
(Through
this Second one I am encouraged to Do What Is Correct And Good)
Chris.
The
lady was so desperate that she got up and went out in the night looking for the
One Whom she loved. I see there are two ways of looking at this. Firstly, our
personal love for the Lord, do we have a strong desire for Him? Is He more
important to us than anything or anyone else? Secondly, the Church’s love for
Him as their Head, the Church that sincerely seeks the Lord shall surely find
Him.
