The rivers rise.
That is always a dangerous situation wherever we may be. Last year I was in a
town that had been recently dominated by a rising river. Much of the town was
flooded and many people suffered because of the flood. I just finished reading
a book about mission that speaks about ministry in the interior of a certain
country. It was very remote, jungles, small villages, mountains and isolation. When
the rivers rose it was almost impossible for people to get from one village to
the next.
