‘Jesus Told Satan To
Go Away.’
Matthew 4:8-9.
a)
Satan took Jesus to a very high mountain.
b)
All the Kingdoms of the World and their
splendour could be seen.
c)
Satan said to Jesus that he would give
everything that could be seen to Him. (This was a lie and deception because
they already belonged to God)
d)
The condition that Satan laid down was that
Jesus fall down and worship Satan.
e)
Jesus told Satan to go away.
(Through this QT we
should learn to follow the example of Jesus Christ: Jesus Told Satan To Go
Away)
‘The Beautiful City
Of God.’
Revelation 21:21-23.
a)
Revelation 21:21. The twelve gates of the City
were twelve pearls, each gate was a single (huge) pearl.
b)
Revelation 21:21. The broad street of the City
was pure gold, like transparent glass.
c)
Revelation 21:22. There was no Sanctuary in
the City because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its Sanctuary.
d)
Revelation 21:23. The City does not need the
sun or the moon to shine on it, because God’s Glory illuminates it, and its
lamp is the Lamb.
(Through this Second one I look forward to the day when I see The
Beautiful City Of God)
Chris.
The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Sanctuary of the
Beautiful City of God. The Faith of every True Believer will be fully rewarded
in Eternity. We will see clearly the things that we read of and are yet so
difficult to imagine here in Revelation 21. It will all become a reality for
us. Hallelujah!
