‘Ungodly Concept Of
Bible Teaching.’
(This was spoken to
Moses by his father-in-law who was a heathen priest)
Exodus 18:20.
a)
Teach the people statutes
and laws. (Legalism)
b) Show them the way in which they MUST walk. (No
guidance from the Holy Spirit or the Word of God. Just simple human domination)
c)
Show them the work that they
MUST do. (No chances for them to exercise the Gifts that God may have given to
them)

‘He Saw The Wind Was Strong.’
Matthew 14:28-30.
a)
Matthew 14:28. Peter asked
the Lord that if it was really Him then command him to walk on the water. Peter
doubted that it was really the Lord.
b) Matthew 14:29. Jesus told Peter to come to Him
and Peter began to walk on the water.
c)
Matthew 14:30. Then Peter
became afraid because of the wind and he saw the strong wind boisterous sea.
Peter began to sink and he cried out to the Lord to save him.
(Through this Second
one I am reminded to keep my spiritual eyes on Jesus: He Saw The Wind Was
Strong)

Domination is never
the Will of God, especially in Christian Church or Mission/Ministry
environment. Since the early days of the Old Testament right through until
today some people seek to dominate others. Domination does not achieve the Will
of God. It produces worldy satisfaction for the dominating person and pain and
frustration for the dominated person.
