‘They Rejected The Call Of
The Lord.’
Isaiah 22:12-14.
a)
Isaiah 22:12. The Lord’s People at the time
were not looking to Him at all.
b)
Isaiah 22:12. The Lord called His People to:-
1-
Weeping.
2-
Mourning.
3-
Shaving of heads.
4-
Wear sackcloth.
c)
Isaiah 22:13. They rejected the Lord’s Call.
Instead they:-
1-
Were rejoicing.
2-
Were being glad.
3-
Were rejoicing.
4-
Were feasting and
getting drunk.
5-
Did not care about
their lives or their families. They had the concept of eating and drinking
because they would be dead on the morrow.
d)
Isaiah 22:14. The Lord of Hosts said this
iniquity would stay upon His People until they died.
(Through this QT I do not
want to be included amongst the people of whom it was said: They Rejected The
Word Of The Lord)
‘When Christ Came Into The
World.’
Hebrews 10:5.
a)
Jesus Christ actually said these Words.
b)
God the Father did not want from Him sacrifices
and offerings.
c)
God the Father prepared a body for His Son
Jesus Christ.
(Through this Second one I
understand the purpose of the time When Christ Came Into The World)
Chris.
God’s People seemed to be far away from intimacy with Him and a
daily walk with Him. They were not caring about their families at all, just
going out to party with their friends, even when they were doomed. God wants
His Families to be places of Love and Security for all family members, a loving
place of care and protection in a generation which is generally hostile to Him
and His Truth.
