‘Come Back Later.’
Isaiah 21:11-12.
a)
This was a Message from the Lord for Dumah.
b)
There was someone calling the guard at night.
c)
They were calling out to know how much longer
the night would last.
d)
The guard replied that there will be morning
and later, night again.
e)
If the person wanted to ask something then
they were to come back later to ask.
(This QT reminds me
that it is permitted to say to someone when necessary: Come Back Later)
‘It Does Not Come
From Us.’
Acts 3:12.
a)
Peter was talking to the Jewish brothers near
the Temple.
b)
He asked them why they were surprised at the
healing miracle that had just taken place.
c)
These Jewish brothers were looking in wonder
at Peter and John, staring at them.
d)
Peter told them that it was not from his (or
John’s) holiness or power that the healing came.
(Through this Second one I hope and desire that all Servants of the
Lord {myself included} have this attitude: It Does Not Come From Me)
Chris.
They were calling out to know how much longer the night would last.
There are some people who ask questions just for the sake of asking questions.
These people have some kind of insecurity, or maybe even illness. We should be
like the guard, and give a wise answer, usually when we do that, the people’s
persistent questions cease.
