brought God’s People back home safely.

The Lord Himself
spoke to David.

The Lord said
that David was going to be Shepherd and Ruler of God’s People in the future.

It was David
who led God’s People into battle, this humble young man whom God had chosen. It
was not the title ‘King’ that mattered it was the condition of heart. When our
heart is in good relationship with God and in good spiritual condition we are available
for God to call and lead us.
