Acts 9:22.
a)     Saul (Paul) became increasingly more powerful.
b)    He proved that Jesus is the Messiah.
c)     His proofs were so strong.
d)    The Jews living in Damascus could not argue with him.

‘Rejected.’
a)     Acts 4:11; 1 Peter 2:4 & 7. Jesus Christ was rejected.
b)    Acts 7:35 & 39. Moses was rejected.
c)     Hebrews 12:17. Esau was rejected.
d)    Numbers 11:20. The Lord was rejected.
e)     Judges 11:7. Jephthah was rejected.
f)      1 Samuel 10:19. God was rejected.
g)     1 Samuel 15:26. The Word of the Lord was rejected.
h)    1 Samuel 16:1. Saul was rejected by the Lord.
i)      2 Kings 17:20. The Lord rejected all of the Israelites.
(This Second one convinces me that the Lord really understands the experience of being Rejected)

Rejected! It is a word that, when I hear it, often makes me think of people’s emotional pain. It is a word that is all too commonly used in these days. I am quite frequently hearing of Churches that are mostly made up of one parent families because the other spouse has abandoned the family. What a challenge to serve in those Churches because there is so much pain and rejection. Thank God that He gives us acceptance!
