Marriage Amongst True Believers!


‘Marriage Amongst True Believers.’
a)     Hebrews 13:4. Should be honoured.
b)    Genesis 34:9. Is evidence of a special agreement.
c)     Judges 21:1. Traditionally has a lot to do with the parents at the pre-marriage stage.
d)    Ezekiel 16:8 & 59. Includes the making of promises or vows.
e)     Daniel 11:17. Is sometimes manipulated into existence by family or friends. (The result is not good)
f)      Malachi 2:14. Unfaithful husbands cannot Worship God. (Their conscience will not allow them)
g)     Matthew 19:12. May sometimes be sacrificed for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
h)    Matthew 22:30; Luke 20:34-35. Is non-existent after the Resurrection.
i)      Matthew 25:10. Can be celebrated with a feast.

The pre-marriage stage of a marriage is very important and so often there are sensitive family issues to be discussed and resolved. If members of our families or our close friends are getting married then we need to Pray for God’s Blessing on them as they prepare for their marriage at the pre-marriage stage.
